All services provided by OKIHost Internet may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless OKIHost Internet and its employees from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party. Pornography and sex-related merchandising is prohibited on all OKIHost Internet servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content, or links to adult content elsewhere. OKIHost Internet will be the sole arbiter in determining violations of this provision. Also prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to OKIHost Internet servers or any other server on the Internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.

Examples of unacceptable content or links:

• Racism - Hate group of any kind.
  
  
• Hacking/Phreaking/Phising - Programs, links, scripts, tips/tutorials and archives
  
  
• Warez sites ­ This includes sites that may contain unlicensed commercial software or cracks and/or links to unlicensed commercial software elsewhere.
  
  
• Proxy Sites - Running proxy scipts and/or servers on the OKIHost network with the exception of dedicated hosting customer is explicitly prohibited.


• Adult Content - Pornography and sex-related merchandising are prohibited on any OKIHost Internet servers. This includes sites that may include sexual content, or links to adult content elsewhere.We are very strict about this if your site would be considered anything over PG-13 then it probably does not belong here, if you are unsure send us an email we would be more than happy to help you.
  
  
• Bit Torrent - Any sites related to or hosting any type of bit torrent or 'seed' files.
  
  
• Links in association with or affilated with free upload sites which are commonly used to support the release of copywritten material such as 'Rapid Share' or 'Mega Upload'

Background Running Programs and Responsible CGI use:

We may give you the freedom in executing CGI programs at no cost. Other providers limit their users access to CGI. We do not. The only favor we ask in return is that you respect CPU usage. It would be unfair to other users to run a program that hindered the performance of a server. We reserve the right to disable any CGI script that affects normal server operation.

No database may be used for logging of information available through our server logs. Databases are only to be used for OKIHost Internet hosted web sites, and no outside access will be granted. No cron job may run more than once every one minute and must be set up to "nice" at a value of 10 or greater.

We may allow programs to run continually in the background. These are considered on a case-by-case basis and an extra charge will be incurred based on system resources used and operational maintenance needed.

IRC:

We currently do NOT allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers. Any account found running these services will be terminated.

Email:

Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited e-mail including, without limitation, commercial advertising and informational announcements, from OKIHost server or using an e-mail address or domain that is maintained on an OKIHost Internet machine as reference is STRICTLY prohibited. A user shall not use another site's mail server to relay mail without the express permission of the site, Run their own mailing list software, send or receive any file (via e-mail) over 3500kb, or send out more than 200 e-mails at one time. There is a $50 charge per email violation along with the offending site being TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY

If your actions have caused OKIHost Internet mail servers to be placed on blackhole lists and other mail filtering software systems used by other ISP’s and Web Hosting companies around the world, you will be assessed a $250 charge to your account and $150 per hour for administrative charges incurred to remove and protect our mail servers and/or domain names. OKIHost Internet will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of these provisions.

System - Network security and Server Abuse:

ANY ATTEMPT TO UNDERMINE or CAUSE HARM TO A SERVER/S, or customer, of OKIHost Internet is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Refusal of Service:

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend service at our sole discretion.

Limitation Of Liability:

OKIHost Internet shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental and consequential damages, which may arise from OKIHost Internet servers going off-line or being unavailable for any reason whatsoever. Furthermore, OKIHost Internet shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the corruption or deletion of any web site from one of OKIHost Internet servers. All damages shall be limited to the immediate termination of service. Violations of these Acceptable Uses Policies should be referred to our abuse department helpdesk at http://www.okihelp.com.

All complaints will be investigated promptly.

READ: Failure to follow any term or condition may be grounds for immediate account deactivation.

DISCLAIMER:

     OKIHost Internet cannot be held liable for system downtime, crashes, or data loss.

Account Activation and Closing:

     All sales/services/subscriptions are FINAL with the exception of our 30-day money back guarantee, no refunds. By activating your account with OKIHost Internet, you agree to the above policies and disclaimer. Upon requesting account activation, you are required to accept these policies, guidelines, and disclaimer and a copy of your acceptance is forwarded along with your activation request to be maintained within your account information.


All clients wishing to have an account closed MUST do so through at support ticket at www.okihelp.com in the sales or billing queue. All emails, phone calls or other methods of contact will not be recognized.
This is to protect both you and us in the event of a misscommuncations so that all activity is logged for any account requests.
